Lunchin at Bill's

Everyone loves lunch dates right? Here is a little post about lunch at Bill's in Durham on Saturday with one of my friends. It was very busy when we arrived but we were lucky enough to get the window table! The table was surrounded by rustic decorations and items that you can buy off the menu in the shop. 

I love how Bill's is decorated, it is so cute and pretty inside. It is definitely photogenic, so obviously I was going to take a few photos. The staff were so welcoming and the service was great considering every table was taken.

Bill's pink lemonade is the best! You can buy large bottles of it to take home and I was very tempted to do so.

For a starter we shared the Veggie plate, which includes chick pea and parsley falafels, olives, humous, halloumi, a flat bread, along with some other dips. It was great to pick at, it was a perfect starter!

We both chose the chicken and bacon caesar salad with poached egg, along with sweet potato fries.  It was delicious, especially the chargrilled chicken! One of the nicest caesar salads I have had in a while. Unfortunately we were too stuffed for a desert, I was gutted as the desert menu looks amazing! Overall it was a lovely lunch with excellent service and a vibrant atmosphere. We got given vouchers for a free bottle of wine worth £20 on our next visit, so I will definitely be back before that expires! It is the perfect little place for a lunch date. I have only ever been for lunch, I am yet to visit on a night time, so if you have been on an evening please let me know what it is like!

I am going to be posting a lot more restaurant reviews as I really enjoy writing them and I love eating out and finding new places. I am thinking about making it as another section of my blog, so let me know what you think!
