OOTD - Is it spring yet?

23 February 2016

It feels like it has been winter forever and I will be so pleased to see the end of it. As much as I love big jumpers, long wooly scarfs and being wrapped up warm I am ready for the lace vests and sandals to come back out. But for now, we are in that awkward period where we don't know if it is going to be arctic winds or bright sunshine, well thats definitely the case in the North East. So, heres an outfit of the day for these awkward in between warm and cold days.

This shirt jumper is from French Connection and I have been loving it since I bought it a few weeks ago. It is a mix of a crisp white shirt and a cosy jumper. The material is quite thin so it can be worn through spring as well as in the autumn weather. It can be dressed up for a smart occasion or worn with a pair of ripped skinny jeans to look more casual, that is what I wore for college today. It is so comfortable and goes with a variety of things. The shirt comes in a range of different colours including grey and navy.
It costs £45.

I got this suede bomber jacket from M&S Autograph collection a while ago and it is perfect for spring. I haven't been able to wear it much in winter as it has been too cold, but now it is perfect. I love suede and khaki so this outfit combination has me written all over it. The jacket is real suede, it is very soft and comfortable. M&S isn't somewhere I shop for clothes, however a lot of the Autograph collection features in Vogue magazine so my Mam and I went on the hunt for some things that she wanted and I thats when I came across the jacket!
I think it cost around £80.

I hope you enjoyed this quick little post and I hope you are having a great day! Hang in there, winter is almost over!
