November highlights

8 December 2014

Hello everyone!
I am aware that it is now 8 days into December but I thought I would share with you some of my favourite photos and good memories from last month. November was probably the busiest month I have had this year!

On the 1st-2nd of November me and my family stayed in Leeds for my Grandma's 70th birthday. We stopped at the beautiful Oulton Hall and went shopping in the city centre and I picked up a few treats from lush, Victoria's Secret and Urban Decay. I absolutely love Leeds, the shops are great and I think it is such a nice place. I am going again on Saturday for my last christmas shop with my best friend Zoe. We had a lovely meal in the hotel on the Saturday night and then travelled home on the Sunday.

On the sunday we went to our favourite restaurant in Durham, Finbarrs, for a sunday dinner as it was my Grandma's actual Birthday. I wore my Kurt Gieger black heels which I love at the moment, my sparkly skirt from French Connection, a black blouse from Coast and my favourite clothing item at the moment which is my pale pink blazer from Topshop. I love this blazer as it can be worn with black jeans or with a fancy outfit. It looks so smart and even though it is pink, it goes with quite a lot! I also had my black Mulberry pouch. We got her a really cool cake made with pictures of her grandchildren on. My face on a cake was quite funny haha! So overall that was a great start to the month!

On the 10th of November me and around 10 friends went up to Newcastle to see The Kooks at the O2 Academy. I loved The Kooks when I was younger and when I saw that they were on tour I just had to get tickets! They were fantastic. It was quite a wild Monday night.

One of my favourite things to do on a weekend is to go up to Newcastle for some shopping. I went with Zoe one Saturday and we went to our favourite little resteraunt, The Garden Kitchen in Eldon Garden shopping centre. If you are in Newcastle I really do recommend this place for brunch or lunch. It is so cute and very photogenic. I had a smoked salmon muffin with cream cheese and sweet potato fries! MMM! They also make their own lemonade and it is to die for.

I did a post about these products in my top buys of the week but I am going to mention them again, because why not? I bought the Clinique 3 step skin care which after using for around 3 weeks now has amazing results! I also repurchased Benefit's They're Real Liner because I cannot live without it now. I then popped into Space NK and got a Nars lipstick and a tinted moisturizer from Laura Mercier. I did quite well!

Now this was my main highlight of November. I went to see Lady Gaga for the 3rd time! I saw her in London in 2012 for the Born this way ball and then recently again in London for the artrave in October. I then found out she was bringing the artrave to Newcastle and my mum and I just could not resist! Wow, it was incredible. We got right to the front of one of the catwalks and we were so so close! It was an amazing night and the best concert I have ever been too!

This is me and my mum on our way to the concert when we were caught by a photographer for heart radio! (look theres that pink jacket again)

Thank you for reading this months highlights! It was such a busy, fun month I thought that I would share it with you all. Now it is December and I CAN'T WAIT FOR CHRISTMAS!
