Lipstick
Lipsticks are always a good shout for any type of person. Especially a MAC lipstick! Some of my favourite colours to wear around this time of year are Ruby Woo, Media and Party line. Reds and Berry shades are a must at christmas time so would make a great quick present!
Lip balms
If you wanted to add an extra present to go with the lipstick you could go for a lip balm or gloss. My favourite lip balm at the moment is bene balm by benefit. It is so soft and keeps my lips from going all dry and horrible. A lipstick and a lip balm go really well together as a gift, especially if you get ones of similar colour!
Candles
Now, who doesn't love a festive scent in their house at christmas? Yankee Candle have so many amazing christmassy smells to choose from. My favourites are Christmas Garland and Candy cane lane. You honestly could not find a more festive smell. As I have previously mentioned, I prefer the sampler sized candles as I like to change scents quite often so these are perfect! At the moment Yankee Candle are doing amazing gift sets of christmas sampler candles. I have already recieved one as a gift off my friend and they are just so cute. Make the perfect present!
Perfume
Perfumes are always a good gift as every girl loves to smell nice. Lots of department stores such as Fenwicks and Debenhams have so many perfume gift sets of offer at the moment that come with the body lotion and cosmetic bags. If you are thinking of a good present to buy for your mum then I recommend Chanel No.5 perfume. This perfume is so iconic and sophisticated that I am sure that anyone who receives this would feel so special. It is definitely a scent for older women rather than teens or people in their 20s as it is quite a mature scent, but is so beautiful at the same time.
Benefit They're Real liner
This eye liner is a life saver. If you know someone who loves make up and struggles with eye liner then this is a perfect gift! It is so easy to apply and creates a smooth straight flick. I use it almost every day and have repurchased many times. This would be a brilliant present for a teenager as benefit is such a popular make up brand amongst young people especially.
Chanel Lipstick
This is a really iconic, sophisticated gift for someone really special! I got my best friend one this year from the Chanel Holiday collection. A Chanel lipstick is just a symbol of beauty and even though it is a small gift it is very special. The shade I am loving at the moment is Pirate, a bright red, perfect for this time of year.
Real Techniques brushes
You may have read my review I did on these brushes a few months ago and I can honestly say that my love for them is still growing! They do sets of 4 different types of brushes that would make a great present or stocking filler. Also the single brushes are always on 3 for 2 in Boots and they are also on buy one get one half price in superdrug. They are so affordable and what every pro make up artist is using at the moment. So if you know someone who loves make up then these brushes would be a perfect addition to their beauty collection.
