Blogmas Day 2 - Lush Christmas

I don't think I know anyone who doesn't love LUSH at Christmas time. They always bring out a huge variety of products consisting of every festive scent you could think of. Theres the scents of sweet candy canes, to hot christmas spices, to vanilla and everything in between. They design the most appealing products so we all walk around the shop in awe. So, I have narrowed it down (which was a long process) and I am going to write about 3 of my favourite LUSH Christmas products that I will most definitely be using over the festive period!

Father Christmas - bath bomb

This bath bomb is one of my favourites from the Christmas range and I have made sure to pick one up every year! It smells like Christmas sweets and bubblegum. The bath bomb itself is pale pink and white, but when you drop it into the water and it begins to fizz it releases a vibrant red of Santa's coat which soon turns into a bright holly green. There is no glitter in this bath bomb, which saves me from cleaning the bath afterwards! It covers the water in a pale red and lime green foam and fills the bathroom with the aroma of candy floss and all things sweet. The smell of this bath bomb is from the Snow Fairy collection. Snow Fairy shower gel is my all time favourite LUSH product, and this bath bomb smells very similar! The smell is so uplifting and really helps you feel the Christmas spirit.

Christmas Penguin - bubble bar

I think this product is the cutest LUSH product out there. This little penguin comes in many different shapes and sizes, meaning that no two are alike. The design of the bubble bar is so cute and it has a slight child like element to it, which I think makes it even more fun and appealing. This bubble bar has the citrusy scents of sicilian lemon and mandarin oils, combined with a sweet note of bergamot. The bubble bar releases its sweet citrus scent and a light floral after scent when crumbled under the running water. This bubble bar can be used in a number of ways, you can simply drop it in the bath to dissolve, crumble it under the running water, or you could place it inside thin material and suspend it under the tap to stop any bits that haven't dissolved that gather at the bottom of the bath. What I love about bubble bars is that they don't have to be used on just one occasion, you can break the bar into parts to use at different times. This little penguin makes masses of bubbles and silky smooth water giving off a very comforting scent.

The Magic Of Christmas - reusable bubble bar wand

If you love anything cinnamon scented at Christmas time then this bubble bar is definitely for you. The bubble bar is a bright shade of orange, dusted in glistening gold glitter and decorated with pieces of dried anise and clove - very festive. What I love about this wand is that the wooden handle, which is usually used for LUSH's reusable bubble bar wands, has been replaced with a stick of cinnamon to capture its Christmas essence even more. This is a beautiful touch which doesn't only add to the products appearance but also the aroma. The punchy cinnamon and clove scents give off a smell of familiar christmas spices with a hint of orange. The purpose of this bubble bar is to stimulate the senses and boost blood circulation once you are submerged in the hot and spiced bubbles. This bubble bar can be used multiple times by either holding the wand under the tap, or swishing it in the water, which I find quite fun!
