My first favourite from November is the Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitters. This is a glitter eyeliner gel which adds so much sparkle to your eye makeup, it is perfect for Christmas! I love the shade Distortion which is an iridescent glitter. I use it on top of my eyeliner in a thin line, in the inner corner of my eye or sometimes over the top of eyeshadow on my lid to make the look more dramatic. It is so easy to use as it has a small eyeliner brush to apply and as the glitter is in a gel the product does not separate in the bottle. The amazing thing about this product is that it stays put, once it has dried it is not moving.
Next is the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation, I have been raving on about this product to everyone I know. I absolutly love it, it works wonders for me! The creamy liquid foundation comes in a gorgeous frosted glass bottle with a rose gold lid and has an SPF of 15. The liquid sets quite quickly so you need to be speedy with blending. It is a medium to full coverage foundation, so I like to only apply 1 layer to have a healthy looking finish. This foundation is amazing for oily skin, so I think that is why I love it so much. It is a demi-matte formula but does not appear cakey when applied, which is common amongst matte finish foundations. It feels lightweight on the skin and the staying power is really good, especially when paired with a translucent setting powder. The fragrance-free formula is also suitable for those with sensitive skin. The foundation has a really broad range of shades, from the palest skin to the deepest skin tones. I have shade 7 to match my fake tan and the match is perfect.
My next favourite is another Charlotte Tilbury product; the Matte Revolution Lipstick in the shade Bond Girl has been a solid favourite this month. I would describe this shade as a natural berry colour, it has tones of deep red and cranberry which is softened by nude tones. It is a gorgeous subtle lip colour that is wearable with almost any make up look. The CT Matte Revolution Lipsticks are probably my most loved lipsticks, they are so soft and just glide on your lips. The lipsticks have a hydrating matte formula so they don't dry you're lips out at all and don't go flakey throughout the day. I highly recommend these lipsticks to anyone as there is such a wide selection of colours to choose from. They would make the perfect stocking filler or secret santa gift!
Now onto skin care products, I have been really enjoying the Estée Lauder Advanced Time Zone cream. This cream is age reversing cream and prevents wrinkles, even though I don't have wrinkles yet (and hopefully not for a LONG time!) it is always a good thing to start early with anti-ageing creams. I ran out of my Clinique moisturiser, so my Mam gave me this one to use until I had time to go repurchase mine. But I actually started to really like it! It is so soft and hydrating on the skin and also has a really fresh scent. My skin feels so much softer since using it and also looks a lot more radiant. I apply this cream on a morning and on a night before I go to bed and it seems to have done wonders for my skin. So, even though it is a wrinkle prevention cream, it has worked really well on younger skin! I love it.
The next skincare product on my favourites list is the Liz Earl Gentle Face Exfoliator. It contains fine jojoba beads to gentle remove flakey skin and dead skin cells. Eucalyptus oil purifies the skin, while cocoa butter and almond oil act as a moisturiser. It leaves my skin feel so fresh and deeply cleansed. I use this a couple of times a week, depending on how my skin is and it helps to keep my skin clear and radiant.
I have also been loving the Zoella Bath Latte, which I wrote about in a recent post. It is a bath and shower milk enriched with honey, cacao and almond milk. It makes so many bubbles and also makes the water smooth and creamy. The scent of this product is delicious and it makes your bathroom smell of sweet almond milk and honey, which is so relaxing. My skin is left smelling amazing and feel super soft and silky. This product is also really affordable at the price of £6 in Superdrug. It would make a great stocking filler for someone who loves luxurious, relaxing baths!
The next product on my November favourites list is a coat. I got this black puffer jacket from TopShop recently and I have been obsessed with it! It is filled with real down feathers and has a gorgeous satin pink inner lining. It is oversized and so comfortable to wear. It keeps me warm throughout the day and I feel so cosy in it! I have wanted a puffer jacket for ages now as I needed a new warm winter coat. I struggled to find just a plain black one that looked right on me, but this one is perfect! It also has a thick hood which makes it even more cosier. However, this coat was quite expensive at £85, but it feels completely worth it when it is absolutely freezing and I'm nice and warm.
Another piece of clothing I have been loving is the Belle Cotton Lace Back Shirt from French Connection. I think this shirt looks so smart as it is crisp white with a pointed collar. This shirt is a stylish spin to an everyday basic shirt. From the front it is just a plain white shirt but the back has the most gorgeous lace detail with a scalloped hem. Every time I wear this shirt I get comments of how pretty it look or asked where it is from. It is so comfortable to wear and is really understated. It instantly makes a pair of black jeans look really smart. The only issue with this shirt is that it creases really easily, however I don't think that can be helped. Even better, this shirt is on sale at the moment from £65 down to £39! Unlucky for me I got it before the sale, literally the story of my life!
Thanks for reading,
