Blogmas Day 8 - Festive Bedroom Decoration

As you can probably tell from all my Blogmas posts, I absolutely love Christmas. Therefore, my bedroom needs a make over when it gets to this time of year. I have decorated my room and I am obsessed with it! It is so cosy and festive!

First of all, I needed some Christmas bedding of course! I got this adorable penguin bed linen from Debenhams. The penguin design is so adorable and the soft grey finish matches my bedroom furniture and wall colour. The material is so soft and it makes me feel so cosy. Debenhams are doing 30% off selected bed linen at the moment, so for a double bed this only cost £28! Which is a good price considering the quality is so good. Debenhams have such a wide selection of seasonal bedding ranging from this subtle penguin print to brightly coloured christmas tree patterns!

I have my advent calendars above my bed, as the M&S beauty advent calendar also makes a great decoration as it is a Christmas tree! I have draped some festive fairy lights over the top of my bed and around the advent calendar, these ones are from Paperchase and are little copper cookie cutters. They are so adorable and go with the rose gold theme in my room. These LED lights were £12 and come with the batteries. I have also scattered some copper bells around the top on my bed, which look so cute. These are also from Paperchase and were £5 for a box of 72. These bells could be used for a variety of things; you could decorate presents with them or put them in a glass container with fairy lights in.

I also have some Christmas tree baubles hanging on the corners of my mirror, one is from a shop in Scotland and the little snowman is from M&S. You could do this with any cute baubles that you have. I have hung some mistletoe lights over the top of my mirror which are from M&S last year.

So that is how I have made my bedroom festive this year!
