I primed my face with the Hourglass Veil primer, this primer is so silky and makes your make up apply beautifully. I then mixed two foundations together, MAC studio fix fluid and Makeup Forever ultra HD. I like mixing these two together as I find that the MAC studio fix oxidizes after around an hour, therefore it goes a few shades darker on my face and makes me look orange. But, I really love the consistency as it is easy to blend into the skin and also very build-able. I love the Makeup Forever foundation as it is very glowy and gives a natural finish to your skin. I buffed the foundation into my skin with my Nanshy angled airbrush.
I then filled in my brows with ABH dipbrow as usual, I literally never use anything else! Although my brows do need doing at the moment so you will have to excuse them in these photos! I then contoured with the ABH contour shade Havana. I have used the ABH contour palette for a while now and feel like its time to get obsessed with a new product. So if you have any favourite contour products please let me know in the comments! I then cut out my brow with the MAC pro longwear concealer using a small flat Real Techniques brush. I am obsessed with doing this at the moment as it just makes your brows seem so much more defined.
I then primed my lid with the same concealer and set it with the ABH Banana powder, this makes a nice smooth base for the eyeshadows so they don't go patchy and it makes them easier to blend. I then used my ABH eyeshadow in Hot Chocolate, which is a matte dark brown shade, as my transition shade and blended it out really well with my MAC 217 brush. I then used my finger to apply the Charlotte Tilbury Silver Leopard shadow, which is one of my favorite eye shadows ever. It is so pigmented and glittery. I applied this all over my lid but not going beyond the crease. I then used my Makeup Geek Corrupt eyeshadow, which is matte black, in the outer corner and applied this with my Nanshy crease brush, then blended with the Nanshy blending brush. I lined my top lid with the Nars fluid liner pen, which I actually find quite hard to use compared to other liquid liners. Then took the Charlotte Tilbury Rock 'N' Kohl pencil, which is a glittery black and matches the eyeshadow perfectly, along my bottom water line and blending it down on my lower lash line. I also blended in some of the black Makeup Geek shadow with the Nanshy pencil brush to make a more smokey effect. Next I used my MAC false lash effect mascaras. First I used a few coats off the white false lashes maximizer mascara to add length and volume to my lashes. Then I went in with the black mascara to coat them. I love this mascara combo at the moment and it makes my lashes look so long and fluttery.
Next I concealed and highlighted using the MAC pro longwear concealer, applying it in triangles under my eyes. I also applied small amounts to my forehead, the bridge of my nose, cupids bow and chin to highlight these areas. I then blended it all with a beauty blender and set it with the ABH Banana powder. I then used the Nars Deep Throat blush and just applied a small amount sweeping it up towards my temples and then on the apples of my cheeks using the Nanshy blush brush. I then wanted a more bronzed look to I used the Tom Ford bronzer, which is quite pricey but it is also amazing. I applied this to where the sun would naturally hit my face. I then finished my face off by mixing the shades of the ABH glow kit Gleam together and applying to my cheek bones, brow bone, bridge of my nose, cupids bow and the inner corners of my eyes.
Then for my lips I used a Charlotte Tilbury combo of the Iconic Nude liner and Bond Girl lipstick. This has became one of my favourite lip shades, it is so easy to wear and long lasting. I then set all of my face with a few sprits of MAC Fix+.
I am really happy with how this look turned out and the make up lasted all afternoon and night! I can't wait to recreate this for my birthday next weekend!
