The first thing I want to talk about is the Glow Kit. Oh my goodness, it is incredibly pigmented. It is a kit of 4 highlighters, the pans are magnetic and removable so they can be put into your own magnetic palettes. This palette was deigned to work for all skin tones, I am quite pale but always wear fake tan so I am always darker than my natural skin tone and all these colours work great for me, especially Mimosa and Crushed Pearl. The highlighters are so intense and stunning. I have used it every day since I got it and I can already tell that I am going to love it.
I then decided to restock some Anastasia eyebrow products. I swear by DipBrow, it is the only product I use for my brows. I normally use the shade medium brown, however I am building my freelance kit so I got the shade Taupe. I also got the Anastasia Brow Wiz, also in the shade Taupe. I can't wait to try them out.
I got 4 shades of Anastasia eyeshadows and a magnetic palette. My favourite shades to wear on my eyes are definitely browns and sparkly shades. I got the shades Chocolate and Dark Chocolate, which are shimmery and then Hot Chocolate and Ash Brown which are matte. I am going to do a post in more detail reviewing these eyeshadows soon. I have been having a play around with them and for now I can say that the staying power is amazing and they are SO pigmented.
I definitely went crazy on the ABH products! You just can't go wrong with Anastasia, right? I also got the Matte Liquid Lipstick in Pure Hollywood. This is the first liquid lipstick I have tried as I have always swore by MAC mattes and Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution lipsticks. I am really surprised at the staying power of this lipstick! It goes on like a lip gloss when you apply it then it dries completely matte within 10 seconds. It lasts me a good 4-5 hours before I then have to take it off and re-apply. I am really impressed with it so far.
Moving away from ABH products, I got the Make Up Forever HD foundation. I have read so many good reviews about this foundation and I am so excited to add it to my kit and give it a try! It is lightweight and has a medium to buildable coverage. I will be definitely writing a review post on it and comparing it to my beloved Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk and the MAC Studio Fix.
Finally, the Hourglass primer. This is definitely a beauty cult product and is so highly rated. I have been wanting to try it for so long and now it is finally mine! It is an oil free formula, which hopefully will work for me as I have oily skin and I hate it when my make up looks shiny in the wrong places. This is definitely a very pricey primer so I am hoping it lives up to its reputation!
I am so excited to try all these products and do some reviews very soon,
Thank you for reading
